![]() ![]() I use this tool daily as a tech consultant and it's clutch. They would like need to add and support a native Xnip file format for this.Īll being said, this tool meets my use cases 95% of the time and the interface is awesome. Even with the paid version and using the editor window, I don't see an option to reopen a previously annotated file, edit the annotations and re-save it. One feature I'd love to see is the ability to edit annotations after you've already saved and closed the editor window. I only found one page (Salesforce Lightning page) where it would refuse to work. The only feature that has been (rarely) finnicky is the scrolling capture, but they have very detailed help content to troubleshoot that. The free version is very generous with what it can do but I opted in to the paid version as I'd happily support the development of this. I've tried a ton of tools over the years (Skitch, native macOS tool, LightShot, Nimbus, Monosnap). If an devs read this please please please add the option to immediately rename the file after taking a SS that would make things so much eaasier but overall amazing app and thank you for making my life and research/studying 1 million times less annoying and time consuming!!!!!!!!!! The only complaint I have is it doesnt give you the option to rename the screenshot you took immediately after taking it and instead you have to go find it in whichever folder it saved too and rename it manually. All you gotta do is not buy a cup off coffee from starbucks for 2 days and then you can use those savings too pay for the full app, and that will improve your life 1000X more then those two coffees would have. Also yes the free version is great but just pay the one time $10 price for the pro version and I promise you will be very happy with ur purchase. But just having that 1 function when I need it makes the app an easy 5 stars from me. For me it is the scrolling screenshot function that puts it so far above anything else, 99% of the time I use the app it is only for the scrolling feature and if I dont need to use that function for a screenshot I use Macs built in ss tool. I have tried quite a few screenshot tools including Firefoxs built in screenshot tool and many other browser extensions and stand alone apps, but This app has been by far the best. You can stop auto-renew 1 day before the end of the current period. ![]() Subscribe Xnip Pro to remove the watermark in the screenshot and gain access to all features in the future update. Pin screenshot or any image on your screen. ![]() Measure objects by the screen with the physical unit size indicator of selection. Pick the color of any pixel on the screen and make pixel-perfect capture. Furthermore, you can select multiple windows and capture all of them together. You can use scrolling capture to capture your source code, article, chat history, etc. It helps you to capture a full-page screenshot even if the content not showing on the current screen. ![]()
